Cynthia Battista is a healthcare accreditation and client engagement professional with more than 35 years of experience supporting healthcare organizations across the accreditation, consulting, and regulatory landscape. She brings extensive expertise in client relations, contract management, strategic growth, and helping organizations identify solutions that support quality, compliance, and operational excellence.
Throughout her career, Ms. Battista has built strong partnerships with healthcare leaders, serving as a trusted resource for organizations navigating accreditation, certification, and consulting services. Her experience spans hospitals, health systems, behavioral health organizations, and healthcare providers across the continuum of care, with a focus on understanding client needs and connecting them with resources that support long-term success.
Prior to joining HBS, Ms. Battista held multiple leadership positions with The Joint Commission and Joint Commission Resources, including Director of Acute Accounts, Client Regional Manager, Manager of Business Development, and Associate Director of Behavioral Health. In these roles, she worked closely with healthcare organizations throughout the United States and internationally, supporting accreditation readiness, client engagement, contract development, and strategic growth initiatives.
As Director of Contracts & Client Engagement, Ms. Battista works closely with healthcare organizations to understand their goals, coordinate consulting services, and facilitate the contracting process. She is known for her collaborative approach, strong communication skills, and commitment to building lasting relationships that support both client success and organizational growth.
Ms. Battista holds a Master of Science from National Louis University and a Bachelor of Arts from Dominican University. She is Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and Yellow Belt certified and has completed extensive professional development in leadership, communication, client engagement, and strategic growth.
