In 2002, The Joint Commission launched their Disease-Specific Care (DSC) Certification program in order to evaluate the multitude of clinical programs that comprises the full continuum of patient care.
Successfully demonstrating compliance with the rigorous clinical program requirements awards your organization with a two-year certification, which includes an “Intracycle Monitoring” (ICM) review at the end of your first year to attest your compliance and to review your performance improvement activities.
At Patton, we can assist you in achieving initial certification, pass your 1-year review, and successfully accomplish recertification.
