Kristine Corradetti Smith, RN, MSN, CPPS is a Registered Nurse and auditor with over 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry. She has a wide range of experience which includes a clinical background in surgical critical care, procedural sedation and peri-operative care and administrative experience as Senior Director of Quality/Regulatory for Steward Health System, Director of Patient Safety and Patient Safety Officer at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach.
She was a Quality, Regulatory and Patient Safety Analyst for Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center and a Regulatory Auditor for the office of Accreditation for The Johns Hopkins Health System in Baltimore Maryland focusing on high risk processes and survey readiness.
Kristine earned her master’s degree in Nursing from Notre Dame University of Maryland and completed a master’s certification program in Healthcare Corporate Compliance at The George Washington University. She is a Certified Professional in Patient Safety and a certified ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor.
Kristine currently partners with organizations to validate their processes, procedures and policies to ensure standards compliance with Conditions of Participation. Her focus for identification and process improvement is a systems approach which utilizes experience, audit expertise, ISO and high reliability implementations.
