Lance Woolf, MBA, CHSP brings over 20 years of leadership experience in healthcare operations, regulatory compliance, and safety management. With a robust background spanning regulatory compliance, financial oversight, and software systems, he has held senior leadership roles across multiple healthcare facilities.
Mr. Woolf is a former Life Safety Surveyor for The Joint Commission, where he offered specialized insight into accreditation standards and compliance protocols. In this role, he conducted comprehensive evaluations of healthcare facilities to assess compliance with the TJC standards, NFPA 101 Life Safety Code, NFPA 99 Health Care Facilities Code, and other applicable standards and regulations. His responsibilities included evaluating Environment of Care and Life Safety compliance programs, preparing detailed reports of findings, and collaborating with facility leadership.
Throughout his career, Mr. Woolf has successfully overseen multiple departments per facility while skillfully managing teams of over 100 staff members. He is passionate about engaging directly with teams to understand their challenges, providing practical and effective solutions to complex regulatory and operational issues, and developing corrective action plans. Mr. Woolf also provides education and consultation to healthcare organizations, sharing best practices to improve compliance and facility safety. Through this work, he helped organizations strengthen their safety infrastructure and ensure readiness for regulatory surveys.
As a dedicated mentor and educator, he takes great pride in fostering professional growth, helping individuals and teams reach their highest potential. Mr. Woolf holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Arizona – Global Campus and is a Certified Healthcare Safety Professional (CHSP). He is also an active member of the American Society for Healthcare Engineering (ASHE). Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife, traveling, playing softball, golfing, and racing dirt and asphalt karts.
