She partners with healthcare organizations nationwide to strengthen survey readiness, improve safety programs, and achieve sustainable compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards.
Ms. Cooke brings exceptional insight from her extensive experience with The Joint Commission, where she served as a Life Safety Code Surveyor and later as Associate Field Director. In these roles, she evaluated healthcare organizations across the country, provided expert interpretation of Life Safety Code and environment of care standards, mentored surveyors, and supported consistent application of survey processes. This background allows her clients to prepare effectively by understanding how surveyors assess compliance and identify risk.
Her consulting approach is grounded in real-world operational leadership. Ms. Cooke has held senior facility and safety leadership roles within complex healthcare systems, directing life safety, environment of care, emergency management, and occupational safety programs. She has led multidisciplinary teams, developed compliance strategies, conducted risk assessments, and implemented corrective action plans that align regulatory expectations with operational realities.
