“From the Field Directors” article gives us three important topics to focus on this month. This post we will be talking about their first topic – those spare circuit breakers on your electrical panel and what you are supposed to do with them.
Spare Circuit Breakers
If they are genuinely a spare, then the breaker needs to be in the OFF position. If it is in the ON position, it could mean it really is not a spare and is supplying current to an unknown area.
TJC says that effective January 1st, 2021 they will cite RFIs for a spare breaker being in the ON position. Do not get an RFI for this.
